Oh we’re back! Stylish Saturday took a bit of an unplanned hiatus last week ’cause we were busy being Pop Stars and leaving the country. But actually though, sometimes things just need to take a time-out. Blame it on the technologies (it actually was a computer ailment that ruined us in the end). You can see our most recent SS here.
So it’s Thanksgiving Weekend! For those of us in Canada anyway. It really makes me pine for some Blair Waldorf Season 1 Gossip Girl in my life. But you know what? You can’t find those DVD’s anywhere! Trust, I searched the entire tri-state area all afternoon to no avail. But other than appreciating the glory of Blair and Gossip Girl, I hope we all take some time to bow-down and give a moment of silence for all that we are thankful for – past and present.
So on that entirely related note, let’s get on to outfits of the week, shall weeee? This look is from a couple weeks back now. I was dressed for the opening party of Cavalier in Gastown and also a party for IZM furtniture pop-up in Gastown. If I had my way, I’d be decorating my Shangri-La penthouse in all of their pieces. GORGE. Ombre fur and ripped up jeans were the name of my game that night. Oh, and this California Love hat – another freak lighting storm purchase in SoHo.
I included this pic here because I remind myself of a penguin when they sit on their ice burgs (or something) and gaze off into the distance. Not that I like to make people think I’m a penguin, but you know.

Annnnnd now we’ve got Madison Blake! This is how she wears pajamas in public – but, SHOCKER, they aren’t really pajamas! She also wore this to the above mentioned Cavalier and IZM parties. She’ll be rambling writing a thought-provoking piece on Cavalier in the near future, ’cause it’s all kinds of swag.
